NZ Castrol GTX Championship Winner. Jim Richard's XY GTHO is known for winning the New Zealand Castrol GTX Championship. A title that he held for two consecutive years in 1972 and 1973.

The XY was powered by a 351 Cleveland engine and had a top speed of 225km/h, making it the fastest 4 door production car in 1971. Only 300 were ever built, making it one of the rarest cars ever produced by Ford Australia.
